On this journey I've learned that every man or woman wants nothing more than humility and a simple conversation. Simeda passed me and I spoke to him asking him how his day was, and his response was thank you for talking to me. He told me he had seen a lot after leaving a place where he had a roof over his head. Went on to explain being prior service in the Navy. He was recently leaving a house where the owner was allowing the distribution of crack out of the back of the residence. He said what I own is in this pushcart and where there is crack comes theft. I asked him was he worried about not having anywhere to go and he told me with all of the recent "gentrification" there has been a ton of new places he could hide away.
